After a five day break, I bring to you a new magic trick performed by the famous Criss Angel. This time he walks over a pool filled with people (and water of course). Guess how it is done. Note as he walks over it, how people swim in front of him and dive under him eliminating the possibility of a glass "bridge". His tricks are always stunning and performed during the day with normal people as his audience. Could it be possible that Criss has divine powers or is he just another illusionist who knows his job?

There is a glass bridge underneath. But its supports are far away from each other, thus people can swim between the gap of two supports. When he walks on the water, you can see the bottom of his shoes are flat when they land, because there is something solid underneath. When he throws down his shoes, there is a hole (or a gap) in the middle of the glass bridge, and that's where the shoes go through. Any more questions?

While everybody's watching the feet, the trick must be somewhere above - kind of ropes linked to neck/arms?

I don't think there are any glass blocks. At about 30 seconds left in the video you can see that guy swim across with his head above water.

Alvin pretty much nailed it I think. Another important think to remember is: Not everyone in the pool is an 'innocent bystander', they are paid performers/actors. Those shocked reactions are bought and paid for, so is their 'testimony'.

Still, respect to Criss Angel for pulling of a good 'illusion' (ie. not real) :-)

Myself and fellow magicians don't consider these kinds of gimicks "real magic". In his tricks, the people around him are "plants" and who knows how much trick photography he uses. I prefer David Blaine....thank you!

sorry people the trick is actually in his feet. He is wearing specially designed shoes that look like a persons foot however they float and can float substantial weight the real trick is his ability to balance whilst walking on water while wearing these shoes.
if you dont believe me search the net and you will find other people pulling it off this way, just not as convincing, but that is why he is good.

i reckon he is walkin on a bridge, did u notice, when he took his shoes of, there must of been a gap, because, i noticed that he took a bigger step than the rest of the steps he had taken, he took a bigger step like, like he was tryin to get on to some thing maybe....

Yeah its in his shoes they're specialy designed to float on water ---they're made to look like feet---

It's his shoes. Wang Wenting, from Chengdu a chinese student designed the shoes after 4 years of prototypes. This was an easy one. All his tricks are easy to solve how there done. Anyone want to know something harder?
