Hustler's Bar Trick

Last night I just finished watching complete third season of great English series called The Hustlers. Every night before I went to bed, I watched either Seinfeld episode, or The Hustlers on my ipod. It's a show about group of guys who hustle bad people, in a way that person isn't even aware when the hustle has been finished, and successfully performed on them. I always liked that kind of movies and series with long cons. Something like Sawyer did in his past (from The Lost). Well, today I stumbled upon this cool little bar trick, that reminded me of this. Watch how this professional hustler changes water and alcohol from one glass to another. It is from some documentary-type of show. Watch it, and you'll see how easy it is to earn some lute, while having some interesting times being in bar with your friends... If you like these kind of flicks, like I do, be sure to rent Matchstick Man, The Hustlers Season 1,2,3, or simply watch Lost when Sawyer has flashbacks ;)

would it not leak out from the rim and then onto the bar? and how does the two substances go through a drivers license. here in Canada they are plasticized.

I think he moves the driver's license after he stacks them together.

anonymus1 yes it can , like vegetable, or corn oil. or basically andything that doesnt dilute with water

It looks like he adjusts the license so there is a small gap on the edge so the liquids can pass around it. I assume that the opening is small enough that the viscosity of the liquids keep them from spilling out. What I want to know if how you get your drivers license back without spilling all over the bar.

"yes it can , like vegetable, or corn oil. or basically andything that doesnt dilute with water".

Whiskey is a mixture of alcohol and water, so why doest the water just dilute the whiskey?

This does actually work, you should try it, and the program isn't called "The Hustlers", it's called "The Real Hustle"

In answer to the question about something other than whiskey, it can be done however whiskey is the best to use as it has a strong colour. And it does not have to be something which doesnt 'dilute' with water, as in whiskey, it is the alcohol, which carries with it the colour as it is less dense than water. Brandy may not work as the [alcohol] is too low.

ps. Alcohols dont mix with water as they are hydrophilic; as are all hydrocarbons based molecules.
